Meditation without an account: what to look for

In Stille, there is no registration step between opening the app and starting a session. Tap Meditate. Your preferences and meditation history stay on your iPhone.

What “no account” means here

Stille does not ask for an email address, password, profile, or meditation goal. It has no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Starting a session does not send your meditation activity to a server.

That is separate from downloading an app through Apple’s App Store. “No account” describes Stille itself; it does not mean bypassing Apple’s own store requirements.

Your app can remember without a login

Stille saves your countdown and screen-awake preferences locally. It also stores a history of sessions, including dates, listening duration, the sound used, and whether the session finished. Your stats shows completed sessions, total listening time, and average session length.

Time totals include listening from sessions ended early, while paused time does not count. This history belongs to the local app installation. Stille does not provide an account-based cloud sync or a way to sign in on another device to retrieve it.

What happens if you delete the app?

Deleting Stille removes its local storage. Device backups are controlled by your iOS settings. If keeping a long-term record matters to you, consider that limitation before relying on the app as your only record.

Check the details, not just the signup screen

When evaluating a meditation app, look for a clear explanation of where session data goes, whether offline playback works, and what happens after deletion. A skipped signup screen alone does not answer those questions.

Stille’s privacy page explains device storage, optional support emails, and website hosting separately. You can use the meditation experience without contacting support or opening an external page.
